About Inkwell Training and Faciliation
Inkwell Training and Facilitation was started with one goal in mind - empowering people to have better conversations in support of healthy mental well being.
Better conversations allowing people to feel heard, supported and have a positive impact on mental wellbeing throughout Australia.
Better conversations to not just talk the talk about mental health, but to make a real impactful difference with a community of like minded people supporting their friends, family and wider community around them.
Our mission is simple, to rewrite mental health conversations, through an ever-expanding network of empowered individuals, corporations and communities who have completed Mental Health First Aid Training.
As someone who struggled with identity, self-acceptance, and not knowing where I fit in the world, I’ve experienced firsthand the impact of mental illness.
Over time, I came to see how many others face similar (or completely different) challenges and life experiences that have an effect on their mental wellbeing, that extend to their families, friends, and our communities as a whole.
Time and time again, I’ve seen people who deeply care and want to support those around them, but they feel stuck—not knowing what to say, how to help, or where to find additional support.
That’s what drew me to Mental Health First Aid training: to bridge that gap and fill people's personal "inkwells" with the tools, confidence, and empathy to step in, rewrite mental health conversations, spark change, and support each other through the ups and downs of life.
At Inkwell training and facilitation we deliver Mental Health First Aid training to empower and teach those people, people like you, who want to help and support others around you.
Why Inkwell?
Our training courses are designed to destigmatise Mental Health, encourage open discussions and empower everyone to walk away ready to take action to support themselves and the community around them.
The name Inkwell comes from the old-school inkwell pot - a container traditionally used to hold ink during the years of fountain pens and feather quills.
While you won’t leave our courses with a quill or fountain pen, you will fill your own mind, your personal "inkwell," with tools, insights, and stories that you can carry forward to begin rewriting mental health conversations.
Our courses are designed to empower you to dip into your personal "inkwell” any time you need to have a conversation around mental health, knowing you have the tools to support those around you with empathy and care.
